StreetPrint

StreetPrint is a patented, proprietary technology and application process that produces realistic looking brick, slate, stone, and other design effects directly onto an asphalt base. We combine the flexibility and strength of asphalt with leading edge coating technologies. 

How do we do it?  We re-heat the asphalt, pound a template made of welded wire rope (any pattern) into the asphalt, and apply a special epoxy color coating system developed by IPC.  Sounds simple because it is but the process requires training and attention to detail to provide the desired results.

How much does it cost?  Generally, our cost for StreetPrint is about $5.00 per square foot for the imprinting and color coating on asphalt placed by others.  Our average job is 5,000 to 20,000 square feet.  Larger projects may get discounts while smaller projects will often be surcharged.  

Where does StreetPrint belong?  Common applications are residential driveways, crosswalks in city streets and shopping centers, plaza areas, medians, trails, playgrounds, parks and historic areas. 

How long does StreetPrint last?  StreetPrint is designed for moderate traffic exposure, 1200 to 1500 cars per day.  We have discovered that all decorative products placed in the streets and parking lots have a limited life.  Generally, after 5 or more years the "decorative appeal" subsides.  Decorative concrete cracks, fades, and fails for various reasons.  Bricks and pavers often fade, heave, and are difficult to maintain.  Our economical process can be easily made new with a fresh application of our epoxy coating.  All too often bricks, pavers and stamped concrete are patched with asphalt and the decorative design is destroyed.
